Australasian Community for Advanced Organic Semiconductors (AUCAOS) Symposium 2018

Professor Chihaya Adachi (Kyushu University)

The symposium will bring together the AUCAOS members and will be an exciting forum for discussing the latest developments in computation/theory, the chemistry of new materials including, processing, film morphology, and spectroscopy, as well as device physics, and device fabrication / manufacturing / testing.


Abstracts may still be submitted for consideration for poster presentations.

Notifications of acceptance are expected to be sent out early August.

Places are limited, so you are advised to register as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. Registration closes 28th September 2018 – or earlier should we reach maximum capacity in advance of this date.

The early bird registration cost is $250 for a student and $350 for a non-student. This includes morning & afternoon tea and an evening meal on the Monday and Tuesday, as well as morning tea & lunch on the Wednesday. Please note that the registration payment is required to confirm attendance and is non-refundable.

The registration fee does not cover accommodation. Please see below for further details regarding accommodation.

Venue: Adelaide Hills Convention Centre, 145A Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf, South Australia.

Please note that you will not be able to book accommodation for the Symposium dates using the resort’s website. Instead, you will need to phone the reservations team on 08 8388 7921. There are a limited number of rooms at the resort, so please book early in order to avoid disappointment.

Check-in will be between 2pm and 5.30pm on Sunday 2nd December.

If you require a later check-in than 5.30pm, please let the resort reservations team know your estimated time of arrival when you call them to book. Appropriate late-check arrangements can then be made.
