Research summary
Andrew is heavily involved in the development of novel solar cell architectures, combining low cost technologies such as Dye-sensitised Solar Cells and Organic PV with ‘third generation’ concepts, particularly photon up-conversion. In addition to this he is heavily involved in water splitting and photocatalysis projects, seeking to generate practical solutions to some of the most challenging areas of materials science research.
