Prof Paul Burn

Research summary

Professor Paul Burn’s research interests revolve around “high-tech” materials that can be used in applications such as OLED flat panel displays and lighting, solar cells, plastic electronics, sensors, and imaging systems. Research involves the development of new materials, and investigations towards understanding the crucial structure-property relationships in them, as well as device prototyping and testing. This enables engineering of materials at the molecular level to give optimal performance in prototype devices.
