Research summary
Associate Professor Lo’s key research expertise is functional materials development, including the synthesis and characterisation of a wide range of materials, including organic/organometallic small molecules, oligomers, dendrimers and conjugated polymers, as well as inorganic nanocrystals. The new understanding of chemical structure-property relationships gained from his materials has impacted many organic optoelectronics fields, such as light emitting (OLEDs, OLEFETs) and absorption (OPVs, OPDs) as well as charge transport and clean energy generation.
