Dr Murad Tayebjee

Research summary

Dr Murad Tayebjee conducts research to understand the dynamic properties of excited states in molecular solar energy harvesting systems. In particular he uses ultrafast laser spectroscopy to understand how light and organic semiconductors interact. His overarching aim is to design spectral conversion devices which promise to circumvent the efficiency limits of conventional solar cells.
