Research summary
Prof Chris McNeill’s research interests lie at the intersection between morphology and device physics. In particular he utilises advanced synchrotron-based X-ray techniques to understand how organic semiconductor molecules pack in thin film in order to better understand the action of organic semiconductor devices. His lab also has the capability for device fabrication and characterisation enabling side-by-side comparison of microstructure and device performance.
