Paul Shaw

Associate Professor Paul Shaw

Research Summary

Assoc Prof Paul Shaw’s research interests lie in the use of optical spectroscopy to understand the photophysical properties of organic semiconductors such as exciton diffusion, energy transfer, charge generation and recombination.Such knowledge provides valuable insights into how these processes may affect device performance. He is also interested in the development of novel chemical sensors that harness the unique properties of organic semiconductors.
