Ivan Kassal

Professor Ivan Kassal

Research Summary

Prof Ivan Kassal develops analytical theories and computational simulations to study the fundamental processes in organic-semiconductor materials and devices. He is particularly interested in the effects of disorder and delocalisation on exciton transport, charge separation, and charge transport, and how these parameters can be tuned to improve device performance. His other interests include quantum effects in biological systems, engineered quantum systems, and quantum computing for chemical problems.
